I made my second visit to the delightful Tanya’s Café at the weekend. Just a short walk from the natural History Museum where we’d been to see the ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ exhibition, this cute, raw vegan café is the perfect spot for a delicious afternoon tea!
With the kitchen closed after lunch, our choices were narrowed down to the few cakes on display; as the World’s Most Indecisive Person, this was actually a bit of a blessing!
Along with a deliciously spicy chai latte, we settled on one slice of carrot cake and one slice of blueberry cheesecake. Both cakes looked gorgeous served on a wooden paddle and sprinkled in edible flowers; the carrot cake was okay but my goodness, this place knows how to do a vegan cheesecake! Although I truly believe that nothing will ever taste quite so divine as the strawberry cheesecake I had last time, the blueberry came pretty close.
