Nutribuddy Strawberry Smoothie Bowl

Strawberry Smoothie Bowl with Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake [AD]

The weather gods finally realised it’s summer in the UK and yesterday was the hottest day of 2019 so far. When I’m melting in the heat, one of my favourite breakfast options is a smoothie bowl made with frozen fruit. I usually mix up my fruit combos but this strawberry smoothie bowl was my favourite creation of late.

Smoothie bowls are like ice cream for breakfast… but healthy!

Nutribuddy Breakfast

I used Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake* to add an extra burst of flavour and nutrients to the bowl. Made with blended organic oats, seeds and coconut, the mix is vegan, gluten-free, high in protein, and low in fat. Simply add a few scoops to your favourite plant milk for a handy breakfast on the run. I use mine as a shake most mornings but at the weekend, I like to indulge a little and whip up a smoothie bowl instead.

I’m using the strawberry shake with matcha green tea at the moment, so I used strawberries as the base of the bowl and in the toppings too. It’s strawberry season here in the UK, making this the perfect summer breakfast or brunch.

  1. Anything with strawberries usually gets my attention. Look forward to trying this recipe.

  2. This sounds like a good, healthy alternative to my usual breakfast, which is usually a bowl of cold cereal. Is Nutribuddy sold in the USA?
