With the current mild weather it’s hard to believe that little over a week ago London’s streets were covered in blankets of fresh, white snow.
The Retreat Kitchen has been on my “must visit” list since it opened its doors in February 2017. Just after its first birthday, I finally made it there. It was worth the wait.

Valentine’s Schmalentines. Anyone with me?
And no, it’s not because I’m single. Even when I’ve been in relationships at this time of year, I’ve found the whole Valentine’s Day thing a bit cheesy and naff. (If you’re into it, that’s totally cool! You do you.)
But last year everything changed…
As the longest month of the year is finally over and we’re making our way through February, how many people are still enthused about their New Year’s health kicks or diets? Continue reading “My Thoughts After One Month Using the Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake”
Happy Australia Day!
Living in the UK, this isn’t really a day I celebrate anymore; not with barbecues and beer, anyway. As I’ve recently been back in Sydney to visit the family, and I just happened to buy up big on beauty, I thought I’d mark this year with a celebration of great Australian beauty brands.
If you follow me on social media, you may already know that I’m participating in Veganuary this year. It’s something I’ve been meaning to undertake for several years running but have never quite found myself committing to.
I’m not one for strict “diets”. However, that doesn’t mean that I’m averse to a bit of a health boost from time to time. Like many people, this desire often kicks in around the New Year.
Not only did I sign up to Veganuary this year but I also wanted to make a conscious effort to make healthier choices as much as possible. Continue reading “My First Impressions of the Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake”
My blog went pretty quiet in December. I went back “home home” to Sydney for my first family Christmas in almost a decade (!) and despite my best intentions to blog whilst away, my time was spent enjoying myself with family and friends.
I did spend a lot of time eating, which I like to think of as blog prep. And now that I’m back in chilly London, I’m excited to relive a little summer by sharing my best foodie finds from Sydney.
A few months ago I did some pretty serious ligament damage to my ankle whilst playing netball. I’ve been on the lookout for something to help ease the pain and discomfort as it ever-so-slowly heals.
Regular readers will know that I love a good expo. So when a friend invited me as her plus one to Stylist Live I was pretty darn excited.
I absolutely adore finding new skin care brands to add to my collection so when I was asked to try out some products from FAIR SQUARED, I jumped at the chance.
I’ve decided to make international birthdays “a thing”.
How on earth my thirtieth in Hamburg was an entire year ago, I have no idea but somehow September rolled around again and I decided to head off to Oslo, Norway.
