The Brighton VegfestUK was held last weekend at the Brighton Centre. The annual event features vegan brands, societies, performers and advocates from all over the country in one giant centre of animal-friendly fun. I headed down with a friend on the Sunday to check it out.
The first time I went to Brighton a couple of years back (which incidentally was for my first ever Vegfest), I really wanted to dine at the well-renowned and award-winning vegetarian restaurant Food for Friends; sadly, it was completely booked out. I guess that’s what happens when you try to go the weekend a vegan festival is in town…
I finally made it down to Brighton at the weekend and although it was hardly sip-cocktails-on-the-beach kind of weather, the stormy skies were perfect for spending the day at an indoor festival and eating my weight in food!
